PILOT CERTIFICATE

The RAAus Recreational Pilot Certificate (RPC) is for pilots who want to fly 2 seat recreational aircraft.

 

The RPC requires the same medical standard to drive a motor vehicle, making flying achievable and affordable to pilots who want to fly for fun.

RECREATIONAL PILOT LICENCE

The CASA Recreational Pilot Licence (RPL) is for pilots who want to fly Australian registered aircraft up to 1,500 kg maximum take-off weight.

 

The RPL is slightly different to the RAAus style licence, it allows you to fly larger aircraft with more than 1 passenger if you also hold a CASA Class 2 Medical.

CASA RPL: Long briefs, in-house and CASA exams 30 hours flying and 1x flight test.

PRIVATE PILOT LICENCE

The Private Pilot Licence (PPL) allows you to fly Australian registered aircraft anywehere in Australia, as well as many countries around the world.

 

You can fly for personal business or pleasure, and you can add many useful Ratings and Endorsements to your licence, such as instrument rating and multi-engine aeroplane.

CASA PPL: Includes RPL training, long briefs, in-house and CASA exams, 54 hours flying and 2x flight tests.

COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENCE

The Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) is the first step towards a flying career as a professional pilot.

 

There are many pathways once you achieve the CPL, some include, flight instructing, air ambulance, charter and airlines. The EAS Flight Training CPL course can be self-paced or full-time, to suit any budget.

CASA CPL: Includes RPL and PPL training, long briefs, in-house and CASA exams, 200 hours flying, instrument and multi-engine ratings, 4x flight tests.

MULTI-ENGINE CLASS RATING BE58 BARON

EAS Flight Training, Port Macquarie is approved to conduct training for the Multi-Engine Class Rating. The training is conducted in the BE58 Beechcraft Baron.

 

The Baron is the ideal multi-engine training aircraft, being one of the most utilised charter aircraft in Australia, Baron time is highly regarded by employers.

NIGHT VFR RATING P28A WARRIOR

EAS Flight Training, Port Macquarie is approved to conduct training for the Night VFR Rating, in single and multi-engine class aircraft.

 

The Night VFR Rating is a great add-on to any licence PPL or higher, giving you flexibility to fly at night in visual meteorological conditions.

AEROBATIC FLIGHT ACTIVITY ENDORSEMENT

EAS Flight Training, Port Macquarie is approved to conduct training for the aerobatic flight activity endorsement (above 3,000 feet).

 

The training is conducted in a beautifully restored Amercian Champion, Decathlon aircraft.

TAILWHEEL DESIGN FEATURE

EAS Flight Training, Port Macquarie is approved to conduct training for the tailwheel aircraft design feature.

 

You will learn the skills required to safely operate tailwheel aircraft both on the ground and in the air.

CASA GRADE 3 INSTRUCTOR RATING

This rating allows pilots to teach student pilots for the issue of pilot licences, endorsements and ratings and is considered an excellent career option for professional pilots. 

 

The course is 6 to 8 weeks full-time (or tailored part-time) and includes 35 to 39 hours flight time in aircraft, all ground briefings, PMI training and Certificate, spinning endorsement, BIF certificate, and course completion certificate.

RAAus PILOT INSTRUCTOR RATING

This rating allows you to teach recreational pilots in recreational aircraft (2 seat capacity) and is considered a great stepping-stone for commercial pilots building hours, or many RAAus instructors simply love the teaching and lifestyle of recreational flight training. 

 

This course is 3 to 6 weeks full time (or tailored part-time) and includes all the required flight training in the aircraft, PMI course, completion certificate and flight test. What makes our RAAus instructor rating unique is that we will also provide (optional) spin recovery training in our GA aircraft, as well as being trained by CASA Grade 1 flight instructors who are also experienced in charter operations with our parent company, Eastern Air Services. 

This course is 3 to 6 weeks full time (or tailored part-time).
