FURTHER FLIGHT TRAINING
1. NIGHT VFR TRAINING
Why limit yourself to flying by daylight hours only?
The night VFR rating allows you to fly by night when visual meteorological conditions exist. This rating is the perfect addition to a private pilot licence.
2. MULTI-ENGINE RATING
Larger and faster aircraft often have twin engines. This course deals with specific skills required to safely and accurately operate a twin-engine aircraft.
Each type of twin engine requires a specific type check, your initial endorsement allows you to quickly and easily transition to other types in the future.
3. SINGLE AND MULTI ENGINE
The command instrument rating allows you to fly in most weather conditions.
The training involves flying by reference solely to instruments to fly both en-route and safely conduct instrument approaches.
This rating is essential for a pilot to gain employment with a charter company or airline.
5. AEROBATIC RATING
Turn your world upside down with an aerobatic rating.
This course explores basic aerobatic manoeuvres for your initial rating.
Further training is also available to explore more advanced manoeuvres and prepare you for entering your first aerobatic competition.
6. SAFETY PILOT COURSE
Designed for the pilot’s partner!
This course, is aimed primarily at people who regularly accompany pilots on flying trips, whether they are social members of the club or the partners of club pilots.
It is therefore taught with the “student” in the right-hand (co-pilots) seat. It provides a basic knowledge of piloting in order that the student may understand the environment of the private pilot and, in the extreme, may enable the student to maintain control of the aircraft and return it safely.
No tests or examinations are required in the Safety Pilot’s Course.
7. FEAR OF FLYING COURSE
Designed for the apprehensive traveller.
