Eastern Air Services (EAS) is a Port Macquarie based, family owned company where safety, the customer and the level of service is absolute paramount.
In the aeroplane category only a few operators in Australia meet the higher Regular Public Transport (RPT) airline standard and Eastern Air Services is one such operator.
Commercial passenger transport is divided into (RPT) and Charter operations. The RPT standard is the highest approval that the Civil Aviation Safety Authority issues and which all major airlines are required to meet.
The higher standard requires EAS to adopt many additional programs, such as safety management systems, human factors training, pilot training and checking every six months, and a more comprehensive system of maintenance.
Eastern Air Services are proud of our commitment to meeting and exceeding these standards and we implement all of this into all aspects of our business:
Regular passenger flights to such destinations as the pristine Lord Howe Island
Pilot training, from beginner to advanced training programs
Scenic flights via both aeroplane or floatplane
Freight services, and
Maintenance of our aircraft
